Hey everyone!
I know it's been a very long time since I've posted any updates, but that does not mean progress was not being made with the Adventure Game System.
The biggest and most important update of this version is the Graphics. Finally we have blended tiles and much better graphics! I've spent a long time getting all the graphics together and also finally creating a real game with the Adventure Game System.
Thats right, v1.6.0 has a real playable game, with Quests, new Monsters, new Items and lots more fun!

I've been working hard on the new version to get it released but as I've found, alot of these updates are quite time consuming.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything but you'll be happy to know that the new version of my Adventure Game is now released.
The old version will be archived and everyone can try out the new one!

A couple updates on the new version of the Adventure Game v1.4.0.
I've completly re-worked the way the Javascript for Map Refreshes gets created
Instead of downloading all information about the map each time you move your character, now it only downloads the tiles that have changed, generally this is only 2 tiles, one where the character was, and where he's going to.
This has saved the download size from 5 kb per movement, to 400 bytes per movement.
As you can imagine, the character movement is so fast now that you're able to run across the screen like a fly.
Once I iron out a few more bugs on the new movement system, I'll be onto the monster spawn points to allow for those blocked portals and protected secret islands.
